black gum burl vase

This is aprox 7x5,1/8" thick. Finish is at this time 3 coats lacquar, will be adding more through out the day. Will also be waxing and buffing in a week os so. The form was taken from a vase the wife had sitting around. ofcorse that one didn't have the natural edge, or the 3 little feet.:p As always thanks for looking and all c&c more than welcome.239953239954239955239956

Now that's a vase! Love the wood! Cool that you carved feet for this but what really stands out to me is the natural edge! Very nice work!
