In my chronically space challenged workshop, I'm looking to be able to store my Dewalt scroll saw in the base of my workbench. A perfect solution would be to be able to swing it up on an appliance lift, Looked at the ones made for stand mixers, but their weight limit of 60 lbs max is a few pounds short of the weight of the Dewalt, much less with a board for the base / weight of the workpiece / etc.

Does anyone know of a heavier version of this?

I've also thought of modifying a scissor lift table, or perhaps even linear actuators, but can't find a solution yet.

Richelieu part 36230 says it will handle 66 pounds.

How 'bout using an appliance lift with a helper leg? You'd pull the lift up into position, then stick the leg under it. The leg might be hinged to the appliance platform somehow, or maybe it is just a stick that stands in a corner when the saw is stowed.
