I had to repair/replace the mounting supports for mothers motorized recliner Saturday. While I was tapping the holes for the 7 x 1.0 mm bolts, the little screw on cap for the plastic application spout for my can of Tap Magic grew legs and walked off. What to do? There on the bench layed a nice orange wire nut. Emergency solved. FWIW

Don't you just hate when that happens?
Don't you wish you had a camera set up to record it so you could post it on Youtube?

I use the larger ones for sealing the spouts of tube caulking. This has saved me some $ through the years.

That sounds like it'd be more convenient then those long, whip-y, orange screw in things for the end of tube caulks. Maybe not as good a seal, but it's uncommon that I need to store an open one for a long time, just over a few days as a project progresses... I'll have to give it a try.
