Hello, everyone I have a 113. craftsman lathe my Dad got in 85.never used . i am going to start using it .at a slow pace learning here from SMC FREANDS . anyway the tail stock drive center was rust welded i had to drill it out vise and chanelocks destroyed the center .and I want to replace it with a live center and also get a drill chuck . But i have no idea what the degree of or the taper is.what does #1MT,#2MT means any help on accessorys will be gratefully appreciated .Thank you all.:D

If it is a monotube lathe, the morse taper is likely a #1..........probably has a 3/4"x16tpi spindle as well. You likely can find a live center from Penn State Industries or Craft Supplies USA.

I starter with one of those. The headstock is 3/4"x16tpi and both it and the tailstock are #1 morse taper.
