Festool Parallel Guide Question...

I just got the parallel guide system and was trying to set them up. The instructions are rather sparse and never mentioned what the two brass screws are for on each T section. I kinda figured that they help hold the guides 90* to the Guide Rail...is that right? Any trick to making that adjustment if that's the case?
By the way, anyone here do the Paul Marcel/Qwas Dog Mod for the MFT 1080? Do you like it?

Yes, that's what they do. I had a set a few years ago but sold them since I don't do very much sheet goods work. On the FOG, Brice Burrell posted a great "how to" on using the parallel guides. It would be worth checking out.
