In th book Handtool Essentials from Popular woodworking pg. 62 there is an article on sharpening your drawknife by Scott Gibson. The picture shows a piece clamped in a shave horse mounted to a bench. Does anyone have a better picture or plans for something like this? Thanks.

Cody, I know you didn't ask about sharpening your drawknife, but that seems to be the goal.

Peter Galbert has plans for a jig and a video. http://chairnotes.blogspot.com/2011/05/drawknife-grinding-video.html

Cody,
I made one not too long ago. Search "shave pony" in the top right of any page. I find them quite handy. I was using it earlier tonight. Someone has one on you tube if you look there.

Not so much a plan as an idea the measured drawing was a picture of the guy holding it with a ruler in his hand also. I found it by doing the google thing it should be one of the first ones.
