This is my latest purchase for my small shop. It is a ProMax cast iron router table extention by Bench Dog. I use my over the blade guard vac line on this to save setup time. The fence seems to take a while to line up with the bit.

Congratulations on your router table extension! Should make things a lot easier. Using the overarm guard DC suction is a quick and easy solution.

Adjusting the fence. . . . My fence hold down has two attachment points - one on each end - like yours. It lines up pretty easily if you put it as close to where it needs to be as you can get it and snug up one end. Then move the other end to dial it in exactly. Tighten both ends. The fence does not have to be straight with the rest of the saw (ie parallel to the rip fence) to make the router cuts.

Donald, What type of adapter, or where did you get it, to fit the dust port on the Bench Dog Fence? I have a Bench Dog Contracter Bench Top model and a 2 1/2 inch hose from my shop vac.

Ted.. Thanks for reminding me you don't have to be parallel
to the table edge. Use to lining up the ribs on that old Craftsman
router table with the bit.

Bruce.. My dust port size is 2 1/4". If you look at the last pic
(whoops oversized ...sorry) you will see a small yellow dust gate and
a 45 degree elbow and band clamp. This was from a old Craftsman dust
collection kit. I use the inside to fit the yellow gate and the outside
(with a around or two of duct tape) to fit the router fitting. The outside
of the elbow was 2 1/8". I plan to change it when I find something better.

Thanks Ronald, Sorry about the name confusion. It appears that my BenchDog has a 2" dust port opening, which is smaller than yours. My original solution was a Rigid Brand univeral adapter sold at Home Depot. Works on the same concept as a Unidril Step Bit. I'll just cut off the sizes small than 2" then epoxy it to my dust port. However as luck goes, now that I need it it's never in stock.
