Hall table made of poplar

I built this hall table this summer for a family reunion auction. It was made out of poplar. My wife liked it and didn't want to let it leave the house. I built it as a practice project, to practice some of the jointery that I am useing on my current project. I think I may make something out of poplar again in the future. It has some fairly intersting grain to it.

I like the front apron/ drawer from the same board. How did you do the bead on the legs. Scratch stock or beading plane or tailed router?
I also like the proportions. So what is your current project? I hope you will post pictures when you are done.

My current project is an entertainment cabinet made out of cherry. The beading was all done on the router table using a beading bit.
