Years ago I picked up a diamond nail file. It has a coarse and fine side and still will reduce a finger nail to dust in a few strokes. I have no idea what brad it was, but it was pretty cheap. The plastic handle broke off about the third time I traveled with it, but the file part still works great.

My small Swiss Army knives has a nail file that has worked great for years.

I like the older style that have the nail file blade coming to a point more than the newer style with a small screw driver at the tip.

For finger nails it is mostly okay, I don't like cleaning my toe nails with a screwdriver.

I'd like to see a bandaid with a wrapping that you could open conveniently when you have cut your hand and your finger is bleeding!

Emergency rooms use a kind of glue to close some wounds instead using stitches. Is that now a common item in first aid kits?

I just use a piece of paper towel and masking tape.

Thick CA (cyanoacrylate) glue - works great! Back in my bowling days a few centuries ago, there was a product that bowlers used to patch up blisters on their thumb. I think it was called NuSkin (or something like that). I used to use it and it forms a tough skin just like CA glue does - probably the same thing.
