Steve - I think you did great on this! The dye work does indeed look like a sunset and the carving leaves no doubt that this piece is Southwestern! Pretty cool! Really like how you stepped outside the norm on this one! Thanks for sharing!

Steve thanks a lot. I think like Keith B. said, i could of raised the carving up just a little bit, and when ever i do enother one of these i'll do that.

Steve - there is always lots of stuff you can do... after the fact! This one being your first in this style of HF/carving... I still think you did really good and I am looking forward to seeing the next one!

First...the form is dead solid on it. The little houses are a lot of work and really well done!!! Maybe a different color scheme...I don't know. Colors do really well but the yellow (my favorite by the way!) may not fit. 9 out of 10 for a big high 5!!

Whats not to like, that is a really cool idea and you did a fine job, I agree with Steve by stepping out of the norm.

Steve, I think you did a great job on this! Especially as a 1st try! Everything about it screams southwest and the dye goes well with it. I do agree with Keith that the dwellings could be a little higher on the form, but it's still great as it is!

Thanks all. I really like the southwest stuff. As if you can't tell.Have a son that was born in NM when we lived there,so i guess that's where the like of this stuff started.

Very nice. I think it should be on a VERY slowly rotating display. Something around 0.5 - 1 RPM.
