Paying it Forward

My son has been lucky enough to have a wonderful soccer coach for the last 5 years. He has helped to develop him into a fine young man. As a thank you, we are giving him this salad/popcorn bowl along with writing him a letter.

The bowl is 12" by 5" and is maple. It is finished with Mahoney's walnut oil.

I'm sure he'll love it, Pete. The wood is beautiful. And the gesture is wonderful. Honestly, this looks like two different bowls. The middle pick looks like the side walls come in, whereas the third pic looks like the walls are straight. Must be the pics...
