I tried it out and, with 1 coat, give a very nice, natural looking and durable (it seems so) finish. 2 coats starts to look and feel like hard varnish.
I was wondering if there is any drawback to this finish? how about it effectiveness in retarding moisture exchange?
I know it's funny but I actually like it when it's 1 coat.
on another note: anything I cover with a wax seems to enjoy collecting dirt, is this the wax I'm using or characteristic of wax? does oil do the same?
edit: I'm asking for use on shop made tools, planes, hammer handles and such.
