Am looking into buying a Hydro Oxygen generator torch for flaming acrylic. Looking at buying from China. Price is $360.00 with shipping
an additional $220.00. They are telling me that the total price is $580.00. Is this true or are there any other charges from customs etc.?
Never bought anything directly from China and any insight would be helpful. Thank you very much.

Sorry not sure what a Hydro Oxygen generator torch is, but I do know what $580.00 is. A $30.00 hand held torch and a $10.00 can of map gas from the depot has done me well for years.

Greg, this uses water and splits it to Hydrogen and Oxygen, so in effect it creats it's
own gas. It would be nice to have one, but I can't justify the cost for how little I would use
it. I have read though about the Map gas and a micro torch. It seems some have success with
that. May give that a shot one of these days.
