My color palette does not give the name of colors, just the numbers, did I do something wrong or is the something different for Coredraw X6?

Try this. This was for X5 but it might work the same with X6

Zelma

If you select the rgb palette it will identify the color using the RGB color proportions. It will also give you hexidecimal colors (the way colors are identified for use on the internet)

The cmyk palette gives the cmyk percentages but not the hexidecimals.

I don't think Corel realises they have users with lasers, the color thing is a real pain. Are you having problems with color changing to cmyk when opening files created in x4 with x6 even though the default color is rgb? I had a file the other day where i thought I had sorted it but had left a small area of cmyk white and the laser was seeing part black in it!
