For the "Beads of Courage" program. It is 10" diameter X 6" tall (not including the stem). The body is pecan and the stem is mesquite. I mixed red and yellow dye with lacquer thinner and sprayed that on the wood before finishing. The finish is lacquer (with the gloss rubbed off).

That is a really neat looking container. I want to get a close up look at it at SWAT where I expect it is headed. The carving and finish really add and the stem sets it off.

Dennis, That's really incredible, flawlessly done. I especially like the inscription! I agree the stem really sets it off. I like your use of color too.

That's awesome Dennis! Love the stem, love what the dye did for the pecan and love the form. A great effort for a great cause, I suspect the new owner with be sporting a grin from ear to ear.
