I have a vinyl membrane deck covering that leaked and rotted the flooring beneath (2 pcs of plywood a little over an inch thick). It's a fairly large area about 3' x 4' that I've removed. I did carefully remove a larger section of the vinyl covering with the idea that I might be able to temporarily re-glue it once the flooring repair is completed. I know the "ideal" solution is to simply replace the entire the entire covering, but finances this year won't permit that. I've also thought about using a piece of marine vinyl flooring which can be purchased by the yard. Any suggestions on how to proceed would be appreciated. Also, what would be the best way to seal the seams? We live in the Pacific northwest with lots of rain during the winter months. Thanks for any suggestions.
