I just finished the burn on the leaf today and added some color with some transtint dyes.

Beautiful work, as expected Jeff. Your work has quickly become one of the ones I know to expect excellent work from, and you haven't disappointed yet. Wonderful shadow work and color!

Thanks Tim, I am really happy with the shadows. I finally got them right :D They are also super smooth and you can see the wood grain through them. This piece of wood was fantastic to burn. All the grain was the same density and that helped a lot.

Great job! As hot as it is in Chicago today it helps to look at something with fall colors.

Thanks Everyone. I am really enjoying doing these.

Bernie, give it a shot. Leave the tenon on and turn it off if you don't like it. I have done that more than I care to admit.

Just too cool! Love how that leaf 'floats.' You almost want to reach down and pick it up off a clean and beautiful plate.

Very nice piece. I really like the dye job. That helps a lot with the realism.

Love your work Jeff. The dye just really makes it pop out of the plate! Your work reminds me I need to draw more. (that's a good thing, inspire is probably a better word) :D
