New Old Lathe

I picked up an old lathe today. It says "Rockwell Beaver of Guelph, Ontario" on a nameplate. Series 3400. It looks old and has the motor mounted separately, underneath the bench.

Any idea where I could get more information about the vintage of this machine?

Unfortunately, that's the limit of my knowledge on your lathe :( , but I do know that Beaver made some bulletproof tools that will outlive our grandchildren.
