Some of you might remember one of my pieces that was accepted to the Tohono Chul Park Mesquite Exhibit. http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?184196-Me-Too!-(accepted-that-is)&p=1902035#post1902035
Well, the exhibit is almost over and I received notification today that my piece had sold! :D
So it's my 1st sale of a publicly displayed piece! I probably priced it a little low, but I'm excited that it sold anyway!

Way to go, Kathy. I was hoping to see the exhibit when we were in AZ a few weeks ago but we never made it to Tucson. I was hoping to meet up with you again but we just didn't time! It's amazing how vacations just fly by!

Probably just as well that you didn't have time, since I still have all of the puppies  and I'm sure Abbie would have insisted on taking one or two home! :D
Just let me know next time you're in town (and save some space in your luggage!).

How big was the hollow form and can I ask how much it sold for? If you'd rather not say no worries. I just started selling my work and am trying to figure out prices. I'm learning what I think it's worth and what the market will pay are not necessarily the same price!

Hi Kathy,
Now you've done it...You gotta buy a little Beret and call yourself an artiste....Congratulations, I remember how my ego soared when I sold my first piece in a show...Keep up the great work...

Thanks again guys!

Pat, I think it was in the 7 x 5 range and if I remember correctly, I think I priced it around $140 and the gallery will keep 40%.
