Hi all,
well, I bought myself a PM90 :)
I'm in the process of fixing her up, and will post more details once she's all nice and shiny :)
Meantime, I installed a VFD and am now trying to set up the remote controls.
Can anyone tell me how to wire an SPDT toggle switch for forward/reverse? All the instructions I've seen have shown for an ON-OFF-ON switch, but mine is just LEFT-RIGHT. I'd like to keep it separate from the ON-OFF button if possible.
The VFD is a huanyang 1.5kw, and the switch is a SPDT toggle switch. There are 3 connections on the back, but no wiring diagram came with it.
I tried connecting the leftmost connection to FOR, rightmost connection to REV, and the middle connection to DCM (top row). The switch doesn't do anything. I then tried the middle connection to DCM (bottom row), again nothing. Then, I tried the middle connection to +24V. Again, nothing.
I set pd023 to 1 (allow reverse). When I press the jog button on the front of the VFD, I can make it go in reverse no problem.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Lee
