Still working on my hand thread chasing skills. Here are some of my recent practice pieces. Left to right: Bradford Pear, Black Limba, maple & blackwood acorn, Bradford Pear and Mopani.

Glad you're back Mike!! You really need to spend a minute (yeah...right) and tutorial the thread thing out. Did you find one of these woods took to threading better than the others? Beautiful work sir...that ain't easy!

I like your boxes Mike. I think the two in the back would look better with less thread. They look to have about 5 threads per box which just looks like too much. You only need 2 or 3 threads, the thought being that you don't want the person opening the box to have to unscrew, unscrew, unscrew, just to open the box.
The grain match on the Mopani (never heard of that wood) looks good.
