No, I don't have a treadle operated vacuum, it's the repair that is neander.



There is a plastic tab behind the 3-pronged electrical plug to keep the plug in place. That is to prevent the plug from moving backwards. That plastic tab broke off. The plug slid back, making a good electrical connection impossible.


My first repair, to epoxy a plastic tab in, lasted about a year. This repair with an oak block should last longer as there is no place for it to move to.

Plastic parts are good for some things, but no so good for others.

Time to get back to my chores.
