Flooding in San Antonio?

I plan to be in the San Antonio area later this month for a few days of rest and relaxation with the family. Can anyone in the area tell me if the flooding or rain is bad enough to just stay away? I hate to make the trip all the way down to sit in a hotel room. The wife plans to take the kiddies to the water park in New Braunfels as well.

I don't work for the San Antonio Chamber of Commerce but my bet would be that if the raining stops (and it probably will soon), SA will recover quickly. Like the Lawton area, it is hot and dry most of the summer. They make a lot of money off the River Walk so any damage will be repaired quickly.

Worth a Google a few days before you go. New Braunfels lives and dies by the tourist dollar.
