Did a quick search and didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

Here is your chance to let us know what fence you use and if you like it or would you like to try another one.

I have a Incra and love it.

This might make a good poll question.

I've got a unifence, but have never used it (new saw, not assembled). I bought the t-track fence when I bought the saw, It's still in the box too.

I had a Delta jetlock fence on my last CS, Liked it, but the unifence IS an upgrade.

Incra TSLS52. Much better than the stock fence, but has its issues; I think it's because of the mobile base, though.

I have the unifence on my grandfathers sears TS, wish grandpa could see it, he could never keep that old sears fence aligned.

I have a Beismeyer clone that needs to be set up, but also have used a Beismeyer itself and really like it.:p

Incra TS-3a....

I have two beefs with Incra:

The rails hurt like crazy when you gouge yourself on 'em. They need some bumper pads inserted in each end...or something.

When ripping wide, the t-bar section of the fence sticks waaaay out but that is the design of the piece, unfortunately.

Other than that, I love the fence.

Ed, I went through the fence selection process last year after I bought my Bridgewood 10LTS.

I decided on an Incra package deal from Woodpeckers. I included the 52 TSLS fence, a router table, the Wonder fence joinery package, and a filler table to finish out the length of the fence rails. It is their package #8 on their website.

Thus far, I have no complaints with the entire package. Any problems to date have been operator problems as I learn how to use it.

The fence is a piece of cake to use. When you set it to 4 inches and make a cut, it will be 4 inches plus of minus a couple thousandths. You can come back next week, and get idential results.

I must say that I was somewhat prejudice since Incra is made about 40 miles from me, and WoodPecker is located about 40 miles from where I lived in Ohio. If you aren't too critical, you can make a case for "keeping it in the family." ;)

There are several excellent fences in the market place, I don't think you will be disappointed with any of them :)

Original Xacta-Fence (Biesemeyer clone) on my Jet Cabinet Saw. I'm toying with getting a UniFence for it, however, as I love that thing and with the auxiliary Uni-Tee fence (http://www.ttrackusa.com/unifence.htm) from Might-T-Track, Inc, jigging is not an issue. Of course, I'd prefer to have a Euro sliding table saw and not have to worry about such things, but the Prize Patrol still hasn't visited...with a big check in-hand ;)

Beismeyer on the cabinet saw and the Mule Accusquare on an older Craftsman saw, like them both.

Ed, I currently have a Biesemeyer fence on my new saw which is very nice. I'm impressed with it's accuracy once it was set up properly. I had an Accusquare fence on my old saw which I sold to a SMC member that I liked better than the Bies. It was easier to adjust, and took less effort to lock down. Sure hope it's new owner likes it! ;)

Beismeyer. That and the Forrest blade are the best things on my saw.

Hi Ed - I've got a General made Biese that I like alot. I toyed with the Vega for a few weeks last winter while I refurbed an old Craftsman saw....that's nice fence too and the microadjust works well, but I prefer my Biese overall.

Original fence that came with 1987 Delta Contractors Saw. It's terrible and I'd love to upgrade but have decided that if I spend any more money on this saw, I might as well get the whole saw replaced with a cabinet saw.

My Jet Cabinet Saw is equipped with a Jet Xacta II fence and I also have a Jet Xacta Micro-adjust fence. I'm happy with the Xacta fences. I used a Biesemeyer for many years, and I find little, if any, difference between the Biesemeyer and the Xacta fences. I find the micro-adjust feature of limited use, resorting to bumping the fence rather than using the micro-adjust.

Ed:

I recently bought the CM 22124 saw with the Biesmeyer fence and really love it. Previously I had a Delta contractor saw also with a Biesmeyer fence and at that time I became a believer in Biesmeyers products.

I don't think you could do much better but you sure can do much worst.

I just ordered the Shop Fox 7' rails & legs a few minutes ago from Grizzly to upgrade my 1023s to a 52" cut. I have the Shop Fox Classic and it's a rock solid fence. Going to move the router table to the extension table I will build next week.

I have a Craftsman original fence on my 1950's 8" saw, a Vega 26" Utility fence on my 1980's Craftman saw, and a Shop Fox Deluxe on my Grizzly 1023SL. I really like the Vega fence for the micro adjust feature.

Uni on Uni. From 1992. It is OK, esp. if you like to trim a laminate door without trimming the laminate, but I never use laminate, so that feature, which is why I selected it, is not of value to me. I don't recall when Delta bought Bies, but I think it was after I bought the Uni.

I have a Grizzly SL1023, I sold the shop fox fence that came with it and installed my Biesmeyer that I had on my Craftsman, Which by tha way made a HUGE differents.

Exactly what differences did that change make for you? I'm just curious since they are virtually the same design.

I have a 1974 Rockwell/Delta Contractor Saw with a newer version of the stock fence. Yuck. At least I don't have to bump/measure/bump/measure for 30 minutes for a 5 second cut now.

I'll be restoring the saw this summer and will use an aftermarket fence. I'm not sure which one at this point.

Another Biesemeyer commercial. Came with my Delta contractor saw as part of an anniversary package they had in 2001. Very precise and very easy to adjust, at least from what I remember from doing it once when I set it up. Also have their overarm blade guard and wouldn't consider the others if I had to do it again.

My only regret is that I only have the 30-some inch fence rails instead of a 50". I overcome that obstacle with a Clamp-n-Tool guide and the Eureka Zone anti-chip base I won here last year. Works just as good (maybe slightly better,) only it takes a few more minutes to set up and makes a lot bigger mess. Now if I upgrade the fence rails, I'd have to upgrade the blade guard as well, or at least modify it.

I recently replaced my unifence with a 66" Biesemeyer. I bought the Bies because I had a large job where a greater width was necessary. The 52" unifence is still my favorite for accuracy, weight and flexibility. I'm going to be selling my unifence if anyone is interested. I live in So. Cal. It has two fence rails, new cursor, and leg set. Jim

Incra TSLS, not for a production shop, but I love the "digital" aspect of the fence. Kinda wastes some shop space to the right side of the saw though.

I like my Unifence and have thought of getting the Uni-Tee fence for it. But the only thing I would use it for would be for hold downs with my Bench Dog feather board. What other jigs would you use?
