Hi to all,
I have an order a Shenhui laser 500x700 (80W RECI tube) and I struggle to find a suitable fume extractor. Blanca offered an unit for 1030 $US. I need to mention venting outside of building it is not an option. My questions to Shenhui laser owners:
- what do you use?
- from where (I prefer UK)?
- what fo think about Chinesse unit?
I also find a Purex Inkjet LX 400 Digital Fume Extraction System buy I dont know if that it is suitable for my laser.
I will use my laser for cutting acrylic and MDF sheets for 3-4 hours daily.
Thank you
Gabi
P.S.
In attchment you will find specs for that unit.

I know you said venting outside is not an option, filter the air will remove the smoke, but I don't think it'll do much with the toxins from the material you are lasering. Not an expert by any means, but, as they say, safety first.

This would work http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Purex-210i-/170873185792?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item27c8d5e600#ht_1428wt_1139
but expect to spend on filters, never cheap, venting outside is much cheaper and worth putting the time in if it can be done.

Hi Mattehew.
That unit it is on eBay for some days. Looking at speecs I dont think that will be enough for a big laser. Speaking of venting outside it is relly not possible. I'll keep looking and try to find something suitable like usage and price (with filters).
Thank you
Gabi
