Each year, our Woodworking club decorates a publically displayed Christmas tree that is auctioned off for charity. It's well decorated with turnings, scrollsaw work, etc. A few put "presents" under the tree for auction too and this is the route I usually choose because I couldn't turn anything to save my life.
My friend and I did this simple wagon this year and most of it was hand tool work. Yes, we dimentioned some of it with power and the undercarage was bandsaw work, but the bed and slats was done with hand tools. We tried our hand at bending metal in a vise which was a new experience, but it was fun. Yes, it was simple but I think it turned out pretty well and am looking forward to seeing it auctioned off.
