Got my new Knight planes today. The 2 small planes in the back are the new ones with adjustable mouths. Adjustable mouth doesn't do that much in terms of performance but what I like is that the smoother can be made shorter - there is a "standard" length coffin smoother in front of the adjustable mouth version. A 24 inch long and 32 inch x 3inch wide plane are there for perspective. The rule is 24 inches long. I'll post some more pics of the shaker boxes soon.

Here is the little one in my hand. That is the very first bit of Holtey I've ever owned...and unless Steve is able to procure more brass from Karl, likely the last.

More perspective on the sizes of some of my Knight planes. The little one with brass sitting on a 3 inch wide O1 steel iron from Steve and the 32 inch long with 3 inch wide iron plane behind.

I couldn't just take pictures..... :D

The little "block" plane is bedded at 50 degrees. It isn't a block plane because it is bevel down. The short smoother in the first pick is bedded at 55 degrees and made of rosewood. Both perform very very well. I'll be using them a bit as I make more shaker boxes.
