I am looking for Felder slider saw blades. The folks I normally trade with do not stock them, and I could not find any on the Forrest or Frued sites. The saw takes 10-12" blades with a 30mm bore and a couple of small registration holes. Anyone have recommendations?

While I'm at it I should throw out an attaboy for Sprectrum Supply. Van Huskey mentioned them as a good source for bandsaw blades. They are the bomb, and provided really super service when I had to have a blade on short notice. They went over and above for a first time customer with a small order pending.

Call Forest, I understand they will do them for you, as well as other places.

Woodtech Tooling should have a Stehle or Leitz blade that will fit. http://woodtechtooling.com

Or even Felder. They have some pretty nice blades, and sometimes they go on sale. I have a few of their blades, including a rip blade that I like very much.

I buy blades from FS Tools, they bore them to fit, and they can ship to you..............Rod.

Call Whitney at 800 346-8274 and she will get you a couple quotes.

We carry Tenryu and Popular Tools. These companies have a much heavier emphasis on the industrial side than Forrest.

There 17 Tenryu blades at:

There are a couple dozen more at:

I use the forrest WWII but mainly because my scorer is set to their kerf. The FOG guys swear by the Tenryu 30050CBD3 as their most used combo blade. True industrial panel blades are thicker and heavier. If you have a scorer a combination blade will work for all but heavy ripping. With no scorer you want a HI AT type for panels. If you have a scorer try to have your panel blades all have the same kerf. Dave

I have Felders ripping blade on my K700, only blade that I've used that leaves the closest "glue line" off the saw. I have Frued fine blades for veneer sheet goods and love them as well.
