Millers Falls brace

I rescued this brace from a box of rusty junk for $5. It is a Millers Falls No 733 with cocobolo head and handle. It has the 8 inch sweep and is a first series from about 1912. Everything works smoothly and the wood is solid with no cracks.

I also got another Stanley No 80 cabinet scraper. This one has all SW sweetheart logos and 98%+ of the Japaning, no rust and the original Stanley sticker on the front. Sadly someone has broken off the adjusting screw and I have to drill it out and use an easy out to remove it. Then find a replacement screw.

Yes, it has the hold all jaws and the ratcheting action.

The brace is a very nice find. The shorter sweeps are not as common.
