Got a few hours to myself today. Sanded to 400 then some BLO.


Cherry. 4.25"x3.75"

Thanks guys. Philip: It's a Panasonic point and shoot. I think LX3. I got it a few years ago when I sold my DSLR gear to get...More woodworking gear. Anyway my setup is just handheld and under a shade tree which happens to have an old piece of iron equipment to make a nice platform to set things on. Bonus points if it's semi overcast. You can get much better results with natural light if you shoot early in the morning of late in the evening right before or after everything gets too dark.
