I made this cup from an oak limb gall that I pilfered from one ouf our mountain forests we have here. It's 3" od, 3 3/4" tall, and 1/4" thick. I used System 2000 resin with red or blue colorant to fill in the voids and a resin mix with coffee grounds. I did this as an experiment with leftover resin. I actually like the results even though there are some bubbles, and still quite a few voids that got missed...... No finish yet, but sanded to 1500 grit. When I do put on a finish, the sanding scrathes will dissappear... C&C's welcomed............. Jerry (in Tucson)
