This is a smaller version of my full size Urns. Turned from Boxelder Maple. Threaded Walnut lid. Aniline dyes applied slowly, almost rubbed on to blend and get the desired effect. 20-30 coats of lacquer. The interiors are left un-finished. Approx 6" x 4"

Jim I looked in all the catalogs for "Elbow Grease", not sure if it comes in a can or a tube, but I couldn't find it anyway. Ended up using 600, 1200 and sometimes brown grocerybag. b.s.e.g

Nice! Love the color and your finish looks like the urn was dipped in glass! Very nice!
