My Army Tanks are made out of Red Oak and Walnut. The size is 4-5/8" long x 3-1/8" wide x 2" high
(excludes the cannon). The scale is close to Lionel train scale.
I number my tanks, like they do with artists prints. I apply a transparent label with the name, my name,
the wood, the finish, and my email address on the bottom.
I finished the tank with yellow powder shellac with many coats. Its amazing how people finish guitars.
I am not there yet.:(
The turret rotates by a nylon washer, bold and locknut. You can pry the knob off and set the
tightness you like.
Believe it or not there are 24 wooden parts in the tank. Eight of the wood parts were purchase
(wheels and pins). Under the walnut plugs are (4) 5/16 dowels. I may only need one dowel per side.
Does anyone think I should add a white star on the rear? I can make my own on cad and Gesso them on.

I think it is perfect and would leave off the star personally.
