For those who haven't visited http://nwwood.com/ down in Tacoma now is your chance to get some great deals on some fantastic and hard to get lumber. He is moving his operation to Alaska and is selling off a large part of his stock on hand. If you like quilted maple, spalted curly western maple, maple burl, clear western red cedar, Alaska yellow cedar, spalted red alder and other local timbers get in there before he's gone. Next weekend there is a big sale especially for those who buy some of the larger bundles. Below are some projects made with wood bought from Chris. He's a nice guy to deal with and now there will be one less local mill, though he will still sell retail on occasions when he visits from Alaska to sell wood.
