How do frameless-mirror medicine cabinets go together?

I'm considering building a medicine cabinet. It will have a frameless mirror door. I've looked inside one commercial example. It appears that there's a wood door with cup hinges behind the mirror, and the mirror is glued somehow to the wood. Is that the hot ticket? And if it is, what glue fastens the mirror to the wood?

Liquid Nails and other adhesive brands make a mirror fastener caulk type adhesive, remains flexible and doesn't damage the silver backing on the mirror. Big Box DIY stores should have it.
