Hi,

Last week, Walter Campos, a highly respected costa rican reporter visited my shop to do a segment on how do I make my pens. He came with his crew and interviewed and filmed me during around 5 hours. The news hit on Channel's 7 program "Buen Dia", a local version of Good Morning America, around 9:20 in the morning. I am attaching the link. I hope you like the interview. Unfortunatelly, it is in Spanish, but I guess that you can grasp most of it.

Congratulations! That was well done...didn't understand a word of it, but was great to watch. Love Costa Rica, by the way, and have visited Las Juntas in Guanacaste several times! Brought some of your beautiful wood back home with me for a few small bowls and platters.

That was a great video and if you were not already covered with work you will be now! Not being able to hear any videos I got as much out of this one as I do any. Super nice!

Mauricio - very nice interview! Like many others, I did not understand the language but was able to follow the sequence of events. Thought the interview was done very well and hope that it brings you a lot of business! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Steve! Long time ..! Thanks for your kind words and for tha patience of viewing this video in a foreing language. I do hope that it'd bring more business because I maintain my shop with the pen sales. This allows me to have money to buy the tools and materials that I need to experiment with bowls, hollowed forms and other things.

You can read the article in English here:

Unfortunately, the translation does not work on the video! But you can still get the idea.

Thank you so much for the translation David! It pretty much summarizes what's told in the video.
