Spalted Maple Pen

I got this piece of wood from a small diameter branch (think wrist sized) I found in the woods back in February. I believe it to be maple. A slightly larger hunk nearby provided a 5" bowl that I don't have a photo of handy.

Maple or not it is some nice wood, a definite asset to the EB Sierra. Looks like some great fit and finish as well. Love to work with the Sierra styles.
