Cherry burl pen

This is for a friend who gave me a cherry burl out of his yard. I posted the bowl a few weeks ago. Here's my way of saying thanks to him. Finished with CA glue.

Rob, that looks like a great finish -- congrats! The transitions from wood to metal look very well executed too. If I had one small critique (and, caveat, this is a personal taste thing), it would be to reduce the "bubble" in the middle of the blank. For me the Wall Streets look better with a straighter tube. Personally I think they are easier to hold that way too.
