Cut this load of Honey Locust yesterday morning. This should keep me busy for a couple weeks. It's going to be a couple days before my back gets over all the fun we had loading and unloading.

The bark resembles Black Locust. Either way, hard as concrete when dry.

Congrats on a nice haul Gary. When dry you have quite a load of concrete.:D

That'll make a nice stack of firewood, Gary. Perfect time of year to split and stack it...

Hauler is made right here in Kentucky-- Gator Trailers--5500lb axles---4 brakes----the only thing that it doesn't have is LED lights.

That will keep you busy, but I find it really cracks easily in the log form. I'm loosing a lot of wood this spring to drying too quickly. We are really in the dry air this year for Central IL. Anchorseal doesn't even help too much. I'm using plastic bags for the really good stuff. Good luck, have fun!

I plan on turning it before it cracks.
It's going to be a long two weeks.
I forgot how hard this stuff really is.

That's quite the haul Gary! And great job keeping all the logs on the trailer with it tilted at such an angle  !

I was looking at the bark and wood, and thought it looks like Black Locust as well. I like both, just have to slow way down.
