Chestnut bowl

This piece never moved much at all, and felt dry on the cheek pretty quick. Date on the bottom from roughing was 5-4-12. Probably received a rapid kiln treatment from the fire. It was also brittle and prone to tearout, no matter the cut I tried. Finally got rid of most of it by doing the ole' sanding sealer trick.

Looks good Jeremy. I am guessing it probably did get some drying when it burned.
