renting equipment time in atlanta

i'm starting a project using shop-sawn veneers for the first time, and need to rent some time on a wide belt/drum sander for thicknessing the veneers. anyone in the atlanta area (i'm in decatur) know of a shop that will rent time for this? thanks

There used to be a cabinet shop in Alpharetta-Krough Cabinets-Kris Krough owner. That was when I lived there 10 yrs ago. Look 'em up. Might be an option.
If they're gone, check with Highland Woodworking. They might have some names.

First off, since you talked about a project, now you have to show it when you're done :D

Second. Call cabinet makers in your area. I had to call 3 before someone would help me out, but he wasn't going to charge me for running a table top through their belt sander.

Search "Gwinnett Woodworkers Association". We have several members with drum sanders that could help you out. The group meets most Saturdays at Peachtree Woodworking Supply. Details are on the GWA website.
