Not one to let a challenge get the best of me, in order to engrave a paddle that was too large to fit in the laser, I had a mirror and lens mount made so I could lay the item on the frame of the laser and engrave from below. Probably broke every safety rule in the book, but I did use safety glasses just in case. For anyone considering doing this, remember to mirror the image vertically in Corel, and of course bypass the safety door switches.

I just cut a hole in the side of the machine, and installed a door.. I use magnetic sheeting to close off most of the hole during engraving. The TT requires a airflow through the system to cool the tube during engraving. When it's not being used, I just close the door.

I open the front door, secure them to the table and engrave with the handle protruding. This one is 60 " long.
