I have been directed to this site from another woodworking forum, to try and locate someone who could make wooden disks to inlay into the bottom of the chairs I make with my name and date. This seems like a good site to get some positive response. You may e-mail me direct and I can offer details to exactly what I am looking for. thanks

There are folks near that can do what you need.
See this link: http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=8105 and scroll down a little. If you can't find any local help you can email me with your requirements and I will do it for you. I was thinking that if the seats aren't to big, and you find someone local, you might just engrave it directly on the seat bottom and avoid the inlay. But if you have to ship, precut tags are probably the best bet.
