Macassar ebony container

Not sure what to call this one bowl? container? Maybe mans valet.I had plans for feet and some carving along the top.Ran out of time.Just been in poor health this year.Got enough done to enter in local county fair.
The piece is dovetailed with the sides sloping out and miters on top.The finish is shellac and wax.Thanks for looking.Comments are welcome. Andrew

Andrew, that's really lovely...I really like how you sculpted the edges of the rim, including the underside. Very elegant. Great choice of wood for the scale of the box, too. Bravo!
