Last spring, dang that was a long time ago, I got directions: "We need some Adirondak chairs." That was Memorial Day pre-weekend. So off to the borg on Saturday to look for cedar, they had it! On sale to boot. Sat, think, figured, measured that evening. Since then I've heard that there are plans for these sorts of things, but still haven't figured out why I should use them. So Sunday, figured better git started, lots of sawdust, palner chips, odd shaped cutoffs. Add some stainless screws, some exterior glue, a few clamps, epoxy the feet to keep ground water out. Next thing ya know, some chairs, stools and tables.

This spring, move out and her they are.

Here's a second shot, taken less than one hour ago. There's a third chair, guest seat, in the background. Don't recall at the moment where the other table is. Also the family "yacht" is back here next to the shop. Well, a little perservative needed to be added on Monday morning, then ready to use for cookout dinner Monday evening. Ain't holiday weekends fun. No rest for the wicked, so I mustbe wickeder than most.

Oh, that's my seat on the left, the real boss's is on the right. They are each sized from the guest chair. It was first, then ask: "Hows the fit?" and adjust height, seat depth, angles from there.

Adirondack chairs, you gotta love them. Can't walk past one without sitting in it to see how it feels.
