I doubt that any of you ever met Bill. He was a founding member of our club, the Beaver State Woodturners. He was one of my first mentors, and a huge inspiration to me as a woodturner from the days when I didn't know the difference between a gouge or a scraper (I could gouge equally deep holes with either tool, with little or no effort). He was the one who demonstrated the McNaughton Center Saver for our club when I was not able to figure it out from the instructions, which inspired me to learn to use the tool, and to instruct others. A great turner, and a generous man. You will be missed Bill.
