Mesquite Bowl

Hello Everyone, I turned this Mesquite bowl today, and I wanted to share with you all, finished in tung oil. I have another roughed turned blank of mesquite, that I will finish turn tomorrow. I have only turned a handfull of bowls, just learning, and having a ball doing so! Thanks for looking.

Nice looking bowl. I really like mesquite. I have only turned one form so far and was surprised when the wood came off in granuals instead of in ribbons.

Pretty bowl, Michael! I love the mesquite...has a really pretty color and grain. Only mesquite we have here is the smoking chips they sell for the barbeque grill!:(

Same here on the chips! I bought the mesquite on Ebay. It came out of southern Utah. Thank you for your comments!
