I need to glue two pieces of 1/2" thick styrofoam boards
together. Anyone know what type of glue to use? This is
a project for my grandson's Jr. prom to cut out a gandola
bow and stearn, since it will be used one time and thrown
away.

I think that good old carpenters glue (Elmers, Titebond, etc) works for this, but I am not sure. Give it a try and see want happens!

Try luiquid nails for foam. $2.75 a tube and holds great.

Thanks for the reply Larry and Aaron! I did try Titebond but it
seem not to hold very good, may needed to set over night. Since
the foam is rough I believe liquid nails the ticket. Thanks!

Ronald, 3M makes an adhesive in a spray can to use for upholstery, etc, (can't remember the number of it), but spray a light coat on each styrofoam board as per instructions and it will work great. I've used it on both styrofoam and foam rubber, fabric, etc. and it works really well on everything I've used it for. You could probably roll on laminate adhesive, but might need to test it first to be sure it won't "Melt" the styrofoam.
