View Full Version : Shallow Spalted Elm Bowl

Got this from a elm crotch. It doesn't have much depth or chatoyance even with oil, but still has a lot going on. First time using General Finishes Woodturner's Finish as well, I saw a few mentions of it on various forums when it came out late last year and the recent rash of posts about it reminded me to give it a shot. It almost reminds me of CA in how fast it cures, and the sanding the ridges back. I like it so far.

Lot of character in that one, Jeremy! Nice work, and glad you like the General WTF. Seems to work well on most stuff.
