With my D-Way beading tools and inspiration from Wally, I've started a new piece. So here's a little teaser !
I roughed it last night, finished the outside and drilled out the center tonight, but probably won't get back to it to do the hollowing until Saturday night or Sunday.
If it turns out as I hope it will, I'll probably take it to San Jose for the instant gallery.

Kathy,

Looks like you are beading away. I can't wait to see.

Look forward to seeing what you come up with. I'm not normally a fan of heavy beading, but I was actually practicing beading with my skew earlier today after checking out Wally's most recent pieces. I'm planning on regrinding an old parting tool into something better suited for beading...though the D-Way set is a beauty.

Kathy,

Thanks for your comments on my pepper mills. Based on recommendations from SMC members I just bought the D-Way beading tools, haven't them yet. I can't wait to see your work.
